16 yr old Nepali scales Mt. Everest

 A school student Nima Chamji Sherpa has successfully scaled the MT. Everest. Sherpa who is awaiting her SLC results climbed the tallest mountain of the world from Nepal side and claims to be a youngest female to scale the highest peak from the Nepal route. 

Sixteen year old Sherpa, a resident of Khudel VDC, Solukhumbu was with her father Tendi when she reached the top. 

She is a student at Lumbini Academy, Chuchchepati. Both father and daughter were team members of High Adventure Expedition Everest 2012. 

Talking to Republica from the Everest base camp, she claimed to be the youngest female to climb Everest from Nepal side. 

Sherpa started her climb on Friday night and reached the peak on Saturday around 11 am. Before scaling Everest, she had climbed 6,000 meters high Lobhuche Peak.

Sherpa´s teammate Shreya Shah had lost her life during her descent from the peak.
