At least three persons died and a dozen others rescued after a Bus (Ba 2 Kha 3347) skidded off the road and plunged into the Sunkoshi River along the Kothi-Balephi road section of Araniko Highway in Sindhupalchowk on Thursday.
The three bodies, one of a minor and the other two of women, have been fished out of the river so far.
A total of 25 passengers were believed to have been traveling on the bus at the time of the incident.
The injured are undergoing treatment at a hospital in Khadichaur.
The bus was heading to Tatopani from Kathmandu.
